"After spending an overcast drizzly late October day visiting the grave of Sergei Diaghilev at the Isola St. Michaela cemetery, I walked across Piazza de San Marco under a full harvest moon. The moon's immense size and amber colour were startling for someone from North America. I wandered about Venice in the moonlit night window shopping. I came upon the Museo de Fortuny and could only glimpse the sumptuous interior. When I returned home I began searching for Fortuny scarves and my search led me to Luminoso Design. We began corresponding and shared a mutual aesthetic taste and lifestyle based on our love of Italy and Art History. As of 2012 I am privileged to share my home with a Scudo Saraceno Murano glass lighting fixture.
